2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hill is coming off his most productive NFL season since being a fourth-round pick in 2019, but his 2023 numbers could be his ceiling. The Ravens brought in Derrick Henry this offseason, giving them a true bell cow after years of deploying a committee, and the former Titan is used to handling a huge workload. Baltimore may not give him 300-plus carries the way Tennessee did, but he should see a lot more than what Gus Edwards got last year. Hill will compete for backup snaps with Keaton Mitchell once the latter is fully recovered from his ACL tear. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Joined by No. 1 option in backfield
Hill will likely handle a secondary role in the Baltimore backfield in 2024 after Derrick Henry agreed to a two-year contract with the Ravens on Tuesday, Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Though they allowed Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) to reach free agency, the Ravens moved quickly to add a true No. 1 running back in Henry, whose size and power will complement Lamar Jackson's elusiveness. After Dobbins went down with a season-ending injury Week 1, Hill stepped into an elevated role out of the backfield and finished with career highs in carries (84) and rushing yards (387) while scoring three times on the ground. The addition of Henry will make it tough for Hill to replicate that rushing workload, though his pass-catching skills should make him the Ravens' clear top option on passing downs, at least until Keaton Mitchell (knee) completes his recovery from the torn ACL he suffered in December.

Oregon WR Troy Franklin can't be happy about falling to Day 3, but things could still work out for him in Denver, where he'll catch passes from college teammate Bo Nix.
Most of the big ADP changes can be easily explained, but there are also guys like Isiah Pacheco and Kenneth Walker dropping down the ranks for unclear reasons.
RotoWire's Sasha Yodashkin is here to help you figure out how some of the NFL's biggest potential offseason movers -- including Kirk Cousins -- will impact both their new and old rosters.
Elijah Mitchell has a 15th-round ADP even though he remains just one Christian McCaffrey injury away from fantasy stardom.
Latest Fantasy Rumors
Appears to have lost ground
Hill, who's played a modest 13 snaps in back-to-back games, seems to have lost the No. 2 running back job to rookie Keaton Mitchell based on recent playing time.
ANALYSIS
Hill has logged only three carries and one target in that pair of contests, and while Mitchell has been in on only seven more plays from scrimmage over that span, he's seen 13 touches. Mitchell has also been highly productive over his last three games overall, netting 205 yards and two touchdowns on 20 rush attempts while also recording three catches for 36 yards.

2019
After having dealt with injuries and players being signed or drafted over him, Hill turned in his best professional season in 2022. He averaged 5.3 yards per carry over 49 attempts and secured all 12 of his targets in his first season back from an Achilles injury. Only Kenyan Drake, who is now a free agent, played more backfield snaps for the Ravens than Hill in 2022. The important context behind that is that J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards were both eased into action after missing 2021 with their own season-ending injuries. Now that both are further removed from ACL issues, Hill projects to break camp as the No.3 running back on the depth chart. His main competition for a roster spot will be undrafted rookie Keaton Mitchell.
