Released by UFC
Light HeavyweightUFC
May 2, 2019
Roehrick was released by the UFC following his one-year suspension from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), Nolan King of Flocombat reports.
ANALYSIS
Roehrick's time with the UFC was ultimately short-lived, as he lost a short-notice debut to Jared Cannonier and a month later was flagged for an anti-doping violation. It was later announced that he tested positive for the banned substance Clomiphene, and a one-year suspension followed that. Roehrick is now eligible to compete again, but it won't be under the UFC banner. The 31-year-old will return to the regional circuit, where's he's scheduled to compete for V3 Fights on May 11.

September 21, 2017
Roehrick has been suspended for a year after testing positive for Clomiphene, a banned substance in the UFC, Alexander K. Lee of MMAFighting.com reports.

Light HeavyweightUFC
August 18, 2017
Roehrick was flagged for a possible anti-doping violation stemming from an August 8 sample.

Displays huge heart in loss to Jared Cannonier
Light HeavyweightUFC
July 7, 2017
Roehrick lost to Jared Cannonier via TKO (strikes) at 2:08 of Round 3 at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale on Friday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It would be a shame if Roehrick doesn't earn a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus for his efforts. Overmatched from the moment the opening bell rang, the debuting Roehrick ate dozens of shots that would have finished any mere mortal. He may not have won, but the 29-year-old who took the fight on 48 hours notice made plenty of new fans in his UFC debut. He will certainly be given another opportunity with the company.
Late replacement for Steve Bosse at TUF 25 Finale
Light HeavyweightUFC
July 5, 2017
Roehrick will replace Steve Bosse (undisclosed) in a scheduled light heavyweight matchup against Jared Cannonier at the TUF 25 finale on Friday, Danny Segura of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Roehrick, a 29-year-old prospect with a 7-0 record, will be taking a fight on very short notice in an effort to get added to the UFC roster. He'll need to show something to stick around, but the cards are stacked against him against Cannonier, a 33-year-old with a 2-2 UFC record. Cannonier took top contender Glover Teixeira to a decision in his last fight, and although anything can happen when the Octagon doors close, Roehrick will be a significant step down in competition.
