FantasyDraft NHL: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FantasyDraft NHL series.

The month of November is heading toward a close, and Tuesday brings us 10 games on the slate. Check out the suggestions below for your daily fantasy lineup…

GOALIE

San Jose, SAN at PHI ($15,000):Martin Jones is day-to-day, but even if he can't play, Aaron Dell has a 2.23 GAA and a .920 save percentage. Plus, the Sharks have only allowed 28.9 shots on net per contest, so whoever is in net likely won't be too busy. The Flyers are on the second night of a back-to-back, which should also help the Sharks' netminder.

CENTER

Mika Zibanejad, NYR vs. FLA ($14,800): The Panthers are on the second night of a back-to-back, and they have been bad defensively across the board this year. They rank in the bottom of the league in both team GAA and shots allowed per game, and James Reimer (3.70 GAA, .888 save percentage) will likely be in net for this contest. Zibanejad has 22 points in 24 games, including 11 on the power play. On top of everything else, the Panthers have the worst penalty kill in the NHL.

Brayden Point, TAM at BUF ($12,100): Point may be overshadowed by Tampa's top line, but he's having a nice year. He's tallied nine goals and 12 assists through 23 games after he notched 40 points in 68 contests as a rookie. The Sabres provide Point with a great matchup with a GAA of 3.42.

WING

James van Riemsdyk, TOR at CGY ($12,400): Van Riemsdyk has started 58.4 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, most of any Toronto forward. This has helped JVR tally 12 goals through 24 contests. Additionally, he has eight points with the extra man. Calgary is tied for having the second worst penalty kill in the league at the moment, which is another point in van Riemsdyk's favor.

Jordan Eberle, NYI vs. VAN ($9,900): After a good start to the season, Jacob Markstrom has regressed, as he now has a .909 save percentage. This is partially why the Canucks have a team GAA of 3.08 in the month of November. Eberle has started 62.3 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, most of any Islander. The move from Edmonton has served him well, as Eberle has nine goals and eight assists through 23 contests.

Matthew Tkachuk, CGY vs. TOR ($9,200): The flipside of the Flames-Maple Leafs matchup is also enticing. Toronto has a team GAA of 3.04, and it has also allowed 33.8 shots on net per contest. Tkachuk has 12 assists through 22 games, and although he has only four goals that's with a 7.5 shooting percentage. If that ticks up, Tkachuk will be an even better fantasy option.

DEFENSEMEN

Kevin Shattenkirk, NYR vs. FLA ($11,300): As previously noted, the Panthers have the worst penalty-kill percentage in the league. That should get Shattenkirk excited. He's had at least 25 power-play points in his last four seasons, and that 25-point campaign came in only 56 games. Shattenkirk already has nine points with the extra man through 24 contests. To spice things up even more, Florida is on the road for the second night of a back-to-back.

Oscar Klefbom, EDM vs. ARI ($10,100): Klefbom is off to something of a slow start, but his 2.9 shooting percentage is a big reason for that. He's put 70 shots on goal while averaging 3:01 on the power play. The Swede notched 16 power-play points last year, so we know he can excel with the extra man. This could be a great matchup for Klefbom to turn his luck around. The Coyotes have a team GAA of 3.62, most in the NHL by a considerable margin.
