DraftKings NHL: Monday-Tuesday Picks

DraftKings NHL: Monday-Tuesday Picks

This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.

We've got two Game 6 tilts making up the Monday/Tuesday contests. It's possible by the end of Tuesday the Conference Finals will be over. Before that, though, here are some players to consider.

GOALIE

Matt Murray, PIT at OTT ($7,500): Murray greatly outplayed Marc-Andre Fleury during the regular season, posting a 2.41 GAA and a .923 save percentage. However, he got hurt before the first playoff game, giving Fleury an opportunity. Now Murray is back starting, and the Penguins have won both of his starts. Plus, he blanked the Senators in Game 5, and he's looking no worse for the wear.

CENTER

Calle Jarnkrok, NAS vs. ANA ($4,400): With Ryan Johansen out, and Mike Fisher banged up and possibly out, Jarnkrok could take on a much bigger role. Over his last two games, he's averaged 19:17 per game, and he saw 1:42 in power-play time in Game 5. The production hasn't been there yet, but his opportunity for success is greatly increased with added ice time, and his price is also enticing.

Nick Bonino, PIT at OTT ($4,400): Bonino pocketed two assists in Pittsburgh' Game 5 blowout. Those were his first points in the series, but he also has seven shots on goal in his last two contests. He may be overshadowed by Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, but he has averaged 2.6 fantasy points per game, and he tallied 18 goals this season.

WING

James Neal, NAS vs. ANA ($5,100): Neal has tallied five goals plus an assist in his last 10 games. That includes three points against the Ducks. He's also tallied 39 shots on goal in those 10 contests, and he's played 3:06 a night with the extra man as well. Neal started 37.2 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone, the most of any Predators forward currently in the lineup as well, and the Ducks have allowed 33.2 shots on net per contest.

Bryan Rust, PIT at OTT ($4,600): Rust returned to the lineup in Game 5, tallying a goal and an assist and adding four shots on net. He wasn't skating with the first line as he usually does, but that didn't hurt him in this game. The Senators allowed a whopping seven goals in Game 5, and while that's only one game, it certainly is intriguing from the Penguins' perspective. Additionally, Rust tallied 15 goals in 57 games this year.

Nick Ritchie, ANA at NAS ($3,800): With Rickard Rakell out in Game 5, Ritchie played 18:03, including 1:43 on the power play. Rakell could possibly be back for Game 6, but even so Ritchie started 37.5 percent of his shifts in the offensive zone. He's also been fine even with Rakell in the lineup, as he's tallied three goals in his last six contests.

DEFENSE

P.K. Subban, NAS vs. ANA ($5,300): Subban's performance has been up and down, and he's been overshadowed by Roman Josi and Ryan Ellis, but he does have 10 points in his last 14 games. He's also notched a point in his last two contests. In his last five games he has 12 shots on goal and 10 blocked shots as well. Gibson is also banged up, and while Jonathan Bernier has been good, the uncertainty doesn't bode well for Anaheim, especially on the road.

Trevor Daley, PIT at OTT ($3,400): Since returning from injury, Daley has two shots on goal in all three of his games, and in Game 5 he notched a goal and an assist, both on the power play. He also blocked four shots in Game 5, adding some fantasy value on the defensive end as well. If Justin Schultz remains out in Game 6, Daley's minutes should be up, including his power-play time. At this price, he could end up being a steal.
