Takes commanding decision over Ion Pascu at Bellator 207
WelterweightBellator
October 12, 2018
Larkin defeated Ion Pascu via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at Bellator 207 on Friday in Uncasville, Conn.
ANALYSIS
This was a complete performance from Larkin. He stayed ahead in the striking exchanges, defended nearly all takedown attempts and exploded with exotic strikes when he needed. He still seems to be getting his confidence back after starting his Bellator run with some losses. However, he was ahead for this entire fight. In some ways Pascu was more game than expected, but that did not matter to Larkin. He improves to 20-7 as a professional, and he will step into the Bellator welterweight tournament if there is an opening.

Defeats Fernando Gonzalez in the main event of Bellator 193
WelterweightBellator
January 26, 2018
Larkin defeated Fernando Gonzalez via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) at Bellator 193 on Friday in Temecula, Calif.
ANALYSIS
Gonzalez is a tough fighter to look good against. Fighters such as Paul Daley and Michael Page have gone into bouts with him as heavyweight favorites and had dreadful performances. Larkin did not look terrible in this fight, but the performance was not up to his usual level. He outlanded Gonzalez from the outside for the entire 15 minutes. Gonzalez's defense slowed him down, but it was still a one sided fight. Larkin picked up his first win in Bellator and improved his professional record to 19-7.

November 8, 2017
Larkin will face Fernando Gonzalez in a welterweight fight at Bellator 193 on Jan. 26, Damon Martin of MMA Weekly reports.
ANALYSIS
Larkin, who owns an 18-7 overall record, is still looking for his first win since signing with Bellator back in March and dropping his first two matches under the label (one to Paul Daley via TKO and the other to Douglas Lima via unanimous decision). His opponent, Gonzalez, is on a two-match win streak and owns an overall record of 27-14.
Fails to bounce back at Bellator 183
WelterweightBellator
September 24, 2017
Larkin lost to Paul Daley via TKO (punches) at 2:40 of Round 2 at Bellator 183 on Saturday in San Jose, Calif.
ANALYSIS
When Larkin left the UFC and signed with Bellator many penciled him in as the future welterweight champion. After two fights, he is still looking for his first win in the promotion. After falling in his debut against welterweight champion Douglas Lima, Larkin dropped another fight here against Daley. Larkin looked solid in the first round. He used his kicking arsenal to score from the outside. However, in the second round, Daley landed with a spinning backfist and a left hook that finished the fight. Larkin has faced some of the toughest that Bellator has to offer. His next fight will likely be against a much more manageable opponent.

WelterweightBellator
July 25, 2017
Larkin will face Paul Daley in a welterweight fight at Bellator 183 on September 23 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Danny Segura of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Larkin left the UFC with a two-fight winning streak but dropped it in his Bellator debut against 170-pound champion Douglas Lima (unanimous decision). This matchup with Daley will pit two UFC veterans against each other, both of which historically have had strong striking skills; Larkin has 11 KO/TKOs while Daley has 29. At age 30, Larkin maintains an 18-6 career record.
Falls in Bellator debut against Douglas Lima at Bellator 180
WelterweightBellator
June 24, 2017
Larkin lost to Douglas Lima via unanimous decision (50-45, 48-47, 48-47) at Bellator 180 on Saturday in New York City.
ANALYSIS
Larkin was more than game in this fight. He had his moments, but Lima was the better striker over the majority of the five-round fight. Larkin worked hard to close the distance, but Lima was often able to pivot and land counters. The champion's left hook caused Larkin a lot of problems. In the second round, Larkin appeared to hurt Lima, but the champion countered and floored the challenger. Larkin probably had his best round in the fourth, but it was not enough to sway the course of the fight. There are plenty of fights left in the Bellator welterweight division for Larkin.
