Shows persistence at UFC Singapore
FeatherweightUFC
October 27, 2019
White lost to Rafael Fiziev via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
This was a gutsy and tough performance from White. Fiziev was the better striker, and he clearly showed that over the course of the fight. To his credit, White was able to hang in there and land his own strikes. He did not have the technical acumen to score takedowns, but he still pressed forward with 11 attempts. To win fights at this level, White will need to refine his game. However, he still put on a show, and the UFC likely will reward that.

White will face Rafael Fiziev at UFC Singapore on Oct. 26, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
White owns a 13-5 record as a professional but has gone just 4-5 since joining the UFC. He defeated Dan Moret by unanimous decision in March to avoid a three-match losing streak. Fiziev was defeated in under two minutes in his only UFC fight to date.

White defeated Dan Moret via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Wichita, Kansas.
ANALYSIS
It didn't come easy, but the victory snapped a two-fight losing streak for White and almost certainly saved his job. "The Spartan" did a nice job of rebounding following a slow start to the bout. He landed three successful takedowns (although he did nothing with his positional advantage) and finished with a 64-23 edge in total strikes landed. White is a tough, physical fighter, albeit one with significant flaws. He is now 4-5 in his first nine fights with the company.
Falls via upset against Jim Miller at UFC 228
FeatherweightUFC
September 8, 2018
White lost to Jim Miller via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:29 of Round 1 at UFC 228 on Saturday in Dallas.
ANALYSIS
White was the favorite in this fight mostly due to Miller's age. However, White did not get a chance to get going before Miller came forward with an over-hand combination and dropped him. After that, Miller was all over him on the ground with strikes. As White tried to defend, Miller locked in the rear-naked choke and finished the fight.
Struggles to stay on his feet against James Krause
FeatherweightUFC
January 14, 2018
White lost to James Krause via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 28) at UFC Fight Night on Sunday in St. Louis.
ANALYSIS
White owned the striking exchanges against Krause. He had his opponent hurt on multiple occasions. However, Krause was able to turn this fight into a grappling exchange. White defended a lot of takedown attempts, but he could not escape the clinch positions and eventually gave up position. He will need to find a way to stay on his feet to win fights at this level.

White will face James Krause in a lightweight matchup at UFC St. Louis on Jan. 14, Dave Doyle of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
White will look to build off his TKO victory over Mitch Clarke at UFC 215 in September. The Spartan owns a 12-3 overall record, though all three of his losses have come in the UFC (3-3). He'll face an opponent in Krause who has won three straight bouts (two via unanimous decision and one by submission).
