While I think Josh Smith is the best player in the deal, you are giving up too much. Pekovic and Bargnani are injured, while Ed Davis has been playing well. Kevin Martin is a nice scoring guard and Cousins should bounce back soon.

Intriguing offer with lots of question marks Ed Davis could have playing time issues when Bargnani & Valanucius return....so may be good time to move him at the top of his value. Pekovic is a bit of injury risk but has taken a significant step forward this year. You are receiving all bigs and losing two productive smalls....can you cover at SG/SF ? Tony Allen may be in line for a jump if Gay gets traded. So you win at big and lose at small IMO...the rest of your your team & league context/scoring are important factors in the deciding if you improve overall. Might be nice to see if you can get a small instead of Bargnani to balance the trade.
