i don't think Posey has hit his ceiling yet.. in a 2 catcher league I would pay the price for him

I just don't like catchers since they don't play as many games and are very injury prone. I like to go very cheap there. Last year in my two catcher league I had Pierzynski and Rosario(for most of the year). Unless Posey puts up Piazza or I-Rod numbers from back in 1999 then I don't think any catcher is worth near that price.

If I am going to risk that much on a catcher I want to expect 1999 numbers like these:


Rodriguez: 35 hr, 113 rbi, 116 runs, 25 sb, 332 avg.

Piazza: 40 hr, 124 rbi, 100 runs, 2 sb, 303 avg.

It's not that much. The cap is $400, not $260.  That $32 would only be $20 in a $260 league, and the guy was last year's MVP.
