I notice for your OF's that you don't have Giancarlo Stanton. I would probably rather own him over harper or upton. I know without any help some of his numbers will be down, but he hit 37 home runs while missing a significant amount of time. His BA wasn't a negative like with a lot of power hitters.

I was gonna say that Headley needs to be moved up, but i see you fixed it in V2. Honestly, if 2012 Headley is legit, he should be 3/4 easy...I have never understood the Zimmerman love. After that one big year, he was labeled an elite 3B, and he more fits into the very good 3B category. Good/not great power with a good/not great BA. With the improvements in their line-up, he looks a lot better, but still not elite. Headley does all of that AND steals bases.
1- Cabrera 2- Beltre 3- Wright 4- Longoria 5- Headley 6- Zimmerman 7- Lawrie 8- Middlebrooks 9- A Ramirez 10- Panda I also downgrade Longoria. 2010 was his last big year. In 2011 his average killed you, and injuries got him last year. If we are talking rankings for just this year, this is how i see 3B shaking out. |

Longoria is heading into his age 27 season. We have not seen his best, yet. If he stays healthy, he can put up a monster season.
Zimmerman is only 4 months older than Headley. He's done a lot more so far, so the "one season" argument really doesn't hold water. |

If Longoria stays healthy he will be the # 2 3b.

i just dont like guys who play half their games on turf. kills the legs. Longoria gets the same treatment from me that all the big guys get. If you miss a season with serious injuries, i downgrade you the next. I did the sme with Wright last year. Once he proves he can play 150+ games, he easily is the 2nd best 3B
I just don't like Zimmerman. Burned me once and i will never go back. I think Headley is legit. He is on the same level with Zimmerman and he steals bases. |

I think Headley is legit, too. However, when a guys first relevant season suddenly happens at 28, they usually have reached their ceiling. A guy like Aubrey Huff comes to mind. This debate all comes down to health. If Zimmerman is healthy, he can be a top 3 third sacker.

I think Headley is a one year wonder. I almost did not put him a 10. Career high of 13 hr's until last year. And this was his 6th season. Even with his huge year to raise his 3 year averages it is only: 9 hr, 55 rbi, 63 runs,13 sb, and 268 avg. Pretty much his 5 year avg besides last year. Only part I like of his game at 3b is the 10-15 sb's he gets. I will be taking all of those guys on my list over him and maybe a few more by the time I really make my lists. Pitchers park. Not a great lineup around him and one good year out of 6. He will be drafted way before I am willing to take him so will never get him this year.
Zimmerman has had about 4 good years already and has way more upside to me. Better stadium and team around him. In his 7 seasons he has had 5 relativity healthy years and two where he played just over 100 games. I don't think he is as injury prone as some think. I have him 6th but can see Lawrie and Sandoval on my list over him. So I don't love the guy but top 10 for sure. |

He will probably make my top 15 but not my top 10 when I actually do my rankings.
