I'm currently in a 3-way fight for the last 2 playoff spots.
It's a 10 team 2QB league. Starting roster: QB, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex (RB/WR/TE), D/ST, K My team: QB - Dalton, Romo, Vick, Foles RB - Forte, CJ0K, Spiller, Leshoure, Mendenhall, MJD WR - AJ.Green, R.White, S.Rice TE - Witten D/ST - ATL, MIA K - Hartley After tonight, I will be in a 3-way tie for the last 2 spots and will lose on tie-breaker. I play both of the teams I am tied with in the final 2 weeks. Given my depth at RB, I was thinking of trading a RB for an upgrade at QB. However, most of the league seems to have shut down for the season. My only options for trading appear to be the 2 division leaders and the 2 other teams that I am fighting with for the last 2 spots. I am considering making the following offer to one of the division leaders, but it is likely that I will face him in wk1 of the playoffs (NFL wk 14 & 15) I give: Romo + Spiller I get: Carson Palmer + J.Nelson Is Palmer that much an upgrade on Romo? I doubt I would start Nelson over Green/White His team: QB - A.Rodgers, C.Palmer, J.Cutler, R.Wilson RB - D.Murray, R.Matthews, S.Ridley, D.Richardson, J.Stewart WR - Julio.Jones, J.Nelson, R.Cobb, Torrey.Smith, T.Young TE - Celek D/ST - DAL K - M.Bryant Or should I stay the course and run with Dalton/Romo? --- I was also considering sending Spiller for Decker (or R.Wayne) to a non-contender to improve their team b/c he faces one of the guys that I need to beat for the last 2 playoff spots. Given your options I sit tight and start Dalton and Romo or why not try LeShoure for Palmer?

Another team is offering A.Hernandez + L.Mccoy for Forte + warm body.
Between the concussion and PHI losing their 'try-hard' pants, I'm worried about Shady - BUT Forte's schedule is pretty bad from here on out and Hernandez s/b a top 3 TE with Gronk out. |

Id take it if you can afford to be without McCoy this week.

I was planning on starting: Spiller, CJ0K and Forte this week. If I trade Forte, I would play one of: McCoy/Mendenhall/Leshoure or one of: Parmele/Hillman who I intend to target on waivers tonight.

Wait to trade until you see if you get a RB tonight in FA.

I missed on Parmele and got Hillman.
Hopefully, he performs this week. |
