I was hoping to get some feedback from some dynasty commisioners. In my league we can trade future draft picks for the following year. My problem is what to do with a new owner when he takes over a team that has traded draft picks for the following year.
Right now we give compensation picks in the rounds they have no picks and they are not trade able. Or they have the option of coming in at half the entry fee for the first year.
Would love to know how other leagues handle this kind of sitiuation.

Personally if I was coming into the league I would prefer to pay the full fee but have the compensation picks each round.

If they gave up picks then there team is probably stronger for it. There are probably many team that have gave up picks for next year so the new owner is no different from them. I would not be happy if I gave up picks for next year and now a new owner comes in that improved his team also by giving up picks for next year now gets extra picks but I don't.
Just hand him the team and let him run it like normal. |
