2015 Fantasy Outlook
After being drafted by his father, former Braves general manager Frank Wren, in the eighth round of the 2013 amateur draft, Kyle hit .335/.391/.472 with 35 stolen bases across three levels in his first professional season. His bat didn't slow much upon his promotion to Double-A Mississippi in 2014, as he hit .283/.338/.376 with a .295 average against lefties in 56 games, though his strikeout rate jumped from 11.6% to 17.6%. He added 13 steals with Mississippi to bring his total on the season to 46, and his defense in center field was superb (.991 fielding percentage). The Braves traded Wren to Milwaukee a couple months after his father's firing, affording the 23-year-old a fresh start. He may spend much of 2015 at the Double-A level as well, but Wren could be an option if a long-term injury befalls Carlos Gomez, though even if he did get the call, Wren would likely be a one-category desperation option.
